Nourish is MCM’s food security programme. According to the Greater Manchester Food Poverty Alliance, some 620,000 people are living in poverty and struggling to put food on the table. Over 200,000 children experience poverty in Greater Manchester, where food bank use is considered to be higher that most other areas.
Narrowgate Next Stage Housing provides support for the homeless or those formerly homeless through resettlement and supported housing.
Groundbreakers teaches the good news of Jesus through assemblies, workshops and RE lessons. Mary and Debs explore Christian values in a creative and engaging way that meets the National Curriculum standard for Religious Education.
Operation Joy takes places on the streets of Manchester – reaching out to people at their point of need. Our street team, Paul and Ryan, brings a message of hope through a special emphasis on friendship and trust. Through this, we can signpost rough sleepers to relevant organisations to receive practical support.
The Narrowgate Support Hub offers support and advice for those who need practical or emotional support. We want to break the cycle of poverty and destitution.
