Nourish

Nourish is MCM’s food security programme. According to the Greater Manchester Food Poverty Alliance, some 620,000 people are living in poverty and struggling to put food on the table. Over 200,000 children experience poverty in Greater Manchester, where food bank use is considered to be higher that most other areas.

The Dawn Project is dedicated to giving care home residents a time of social singing and music. We work with elderly adults including those with dementia, learning difficulties and mental health concerns, to improve their wellbeing.

Operation Joy takes places on the streets of Manchester – reaching out to people at their point of need. Our street team, Paul and Ryan, brings a message of hope through a special emphasis on friendship and trust. Through this, we can signpost rough sleepers to relevant organisations to receive practical support.
