Seven:Nine
In parts of Greater Manchester, you can feel as if you’ve been transported to the Indian subcontinent. In some towns like Oldham, Manchester and Rochdale, people from Muslim backgrounds make up around 1 in 5 of the town’s population; in some local areas over 90% of people are of Bangladeshi or Pakistani heritage.
MCM missionary, Sarah*, facilitates a number of insightful initiatives including language classes, dialogue sessions, prayer meetings and courses, all designed to inspire and equip local churches in Greater Manchester to reach their local community with the Gospel.
This project’s name, Seven:Nine, reminds us of the heavenly revelation, where people of every tongue, tribe and nation worship God together.
