7:9 Tells Us What A Muslim Observed!

At this time of war in the Middle East, political and cultural disharmony can induce fear and anxiety and sometimes feel overwhelming.

Take heart… we have Good news! Jesus came and lived among people at a time of political and cultural disharmony, yet he wasn’t overwhelmed by it, instead He overcame the power of sin and death on the cross.

“This is our God, the servant King. He calls us now to follow Him”.

In Greater Manchester many Muslims never hear the ‘Good News’ of God’s love -so how are we responding to His call?

This month, through the work of 7:9, more Christians have committed to pray for their Muslim neighbours in local churches and in local ‘Mahabba’ groups. This is where Muslim and Christian neighbours came together to learn about one another’s faith; a young Muslim leader had observed and commented:

‘I only know what a real Christian is because I have met these people here. They live lives of love, helping people, caring for people - everything they do is based on being Christians.’

Please pray that more Christians will commit to praying for their Muslim neighbours.
