A Settled Home?

Narrowgate Next Stage Housing Does It Again…

Early last year, S came to see me as he had been asked to leave his accommodation due to his landlord wanting to sell the property.

I tried to register him with the local authority but, because he had not received a Section 21 from his landlord, it was difficult to prove his circumstances. Despite requesting this paperwork several times, it was not forthcoming, leaving S in limbo.

Having discussed his options, S agreed we started looking for private accommodation.

Just before Christmas, S was able to move in to his new place – a room in a shared house with its’ own kitchen. He is happy to be settled at last and to have a place to call home after all the uncertainty.

We will continue to offer support as needed.
