How Often Do You Pray?
This week I was chatting with some fellow followers of Jesus: Do you think it is easier to pray ritually five times a day or to pray on ‘every occasion’? (Ephesians 6:18). Why?
7:9 needs people who will pray for God to open hearts to his call, to guide us in his way and to be a clear witness to the gospel. It’s not always that easy to be persistent in prayer - getting together with others is often an encouragement. Matt 18:20 reminds us that he is with us when we do this!
Mahabba is a network of people who pray regularly with others either in their local area or via video calls. Prayer leads to action and there are groups all over the UK getting involved in work like the 7:9 project - you could too!
