Dear Supporter,

Please find enclosed the latest edition of the Manchester City Mission newsletter, Clear Call.

This time we have tried to focus on the differences our projects make, and it’s been a blessing to put together.

As you know, MCM has been under considerable pressure for the last 18 months as the sale of the Windsor Centre drags on and on due to all manner of legal delays. The unexpected extra costs and the financial pressure are frankly intense and without the wisdom that comes from our God, we could feel overwhelmed.

However, in Philippians 4, we are given a strategy to stop us from losing our peace; we are instructed to focus on whatever is honourable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, excellent, or worthy of praise.

That’s why putting this edition together has been such a joy. It’s given us opportunity to consider the impact that our partnership in the Gospel is making and to focus on God’s goodness and faithfulness.

This edition of Clear Call has done us good for godly reasons.
