You Are Made In God's Image!

‘God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.’ Gen 1:27.
Christian leaders gathered from across the UK in Manchester last week for WEAVE, an Intercultural church conference. It was exciting for Sarah to meet others who share a passion to reach out across Manchester and to look at ways we can support one another in this work.
One encouragement came from the Bible Society, ‘The Quiet Revival demonstrates that far from declining, the Church has grown.’ However, the lowest area of growth among people from non-Christian backgrounds was those of Asian heritage.
We are all made in the image of God and we were so blessed by the insights of people from different cultures, ages and experiences coming together. Worship was led in multiple languages and musical styles, demonstrating the diversity and beauty of God’s creation and his church, Woven together into one.

It was quite a Revelation 7:9 moment!
