He wanted God in his life.

He had had enough, lost his job and was struggling to make ends meet.

While Ryan was helping at the Nourish food club recently, he received a call from W. This man was very upset saying that he had had enough, he lost his job and was struggling to make ends meet.

After talking and praying together, Ryan arranged to take him some food from our Nourish food poverty project.

When they met, W told Ryan he wanted God in his life. Ryan said, “You could see this man wanted change.” W then told Ryan that he had done some bad things in his life but carried the burdens of what he had done. He asked if God would forgive him.

Since W was clearly ready to receive Jesus as his Lord and saviour, Ryan led him in a sinner’s prayer and will now find a good Bible believing church where W can continue to grow in his Faith.

If you want to know what it means to have a relationship with Jesus, or you would like to talk to Ryan or one of the team at Manchester City Mission, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
