How Much Difference Does A Small Amount Make?

Next Stage Housing Stands In The Gap!

In the last few weeks we have been able to bless people with money given by individuals through Acts 435. The help needed can vary but the common factor is that these needs cannot be met in any other way and without this help the outlook can be bleak or worse.

In the last few weeks we have been able to help a gentleman who was suffering with his health as he had no fridge freezer to store his food safely and, as you can imagine, when the temperatures soar, this is not a luxury but a necessity.

Another lady has been helped with the purchase of a washing machine that she has been struggling without for several months. Anyone with small children will know how difficult this can be.

Lastly, another lady has been helped when she got into difficulties with her day-to-day expenses. Sometimes we just need a helping hand to pull us out and set us on a firm foundation which is what we read in Psalm 40 v 2 (he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand). We know that this is referring to our need of salvation but, at times, we need help in our day to day lives when we feel we are sinking.

With all these requests we are able to share the scripture that the 'Acts 435' charity is based on – Acts 4 v 35 where we read that money was given and distributed to anyone who had need.

We also know the story of the feeding of the 5000 where a small amount in Jesus’ hands provided for many.

As we are obedient to the prompting of the Holy Spirit, we know that even what appears small can have a big impact on the individual, not only practically and emotionally but, as we share the good news of the gospel, we pray for eternity.
