Next Stage Housing,

Sharing the Burden…

Some time ago we had a call from a gentleman with a pressing need for help with his electricity. We were able to help with this immediate need but then realised that there were other needs and debts which needed addressing.

Despite it feeling at times like one step forward, two steps back, we have been able to work together and are now at the point where he has a workable budget, where he can pay his way and still be able to have food and heating.

Providing a listening ear and a supportive voice makes all the difference as people feel that they are not alone in their difficulties. As it says in Galatians 6:2 ‘Carry each other’s burdens and, in this way, you will fulfil the law of Christ’

Please pray, that MCM is able to continue to serve and support the people of Greater Manchester.
