Next Stage Housing Considers the Housing Crisis.

Working for the good of others!

I recently read an article about a grassroots organisation in Grimsby who have come together to renovate houses which have become derelict and then rent them out to those in need as compassionate landlords.

What a wonderful example of the community working together for the good of others.

As Christians it reminds us of the book of Acts where the disciples had ‘all things in common’ – looking not just on their own needs but also the needs of others.

As the housing crisis continues, perhaps it gives us food for thought as to how the church might be instrumental in using our resources and skills to meet the need.
