Has a presence in our Food Club!

Manchester City Mission has been partnered with Pendleton Together Housing for a number of years through our Nourish Food Club. Sarah Davies is the Employment Initiatives Officer for Pendleton Together Housing and can be found on Wednesdays at our Food Club in the community room at Spruce Court and on Thursdays at our Food Club in St Thomas’ Church. Sarah works 1-2-1 with anyone needing help and has provided advice, support and sign posting in MCM Food Clubs for our members on issues including:

• Salford Homesearch
• Asylum Issues
• Hardship Fund
• Volunteering
• ASB and Neighbour Issues
• Energy Redress Funds
• Welfare Benefits
• Creating a CV
• Interview Advice
• Training Course Advice
• Rents
• Repairs

It is a real blessing to see the impact our Food Clubs are having on individuals lives, it goes way beyond just a decent shop for £3.
