Seven Years of Prayer

How do I get God in my life?

Louise, who serves in the Nourish food poverty project with our Resident Evangelist Ryan, was so pleased this week when God answered her prayers after seven years.

In the past, Ryan and Louise have talked about their hopes that their children would come to know the Lord.

Louise has been praying for her daughter for the last seven years and last week God started to answer prayer when her daughter phoned her up asking about God.

That evening Ryan visited Louise’s daughter to answer any questions about God and to share the Gospel in its entirety.

During the visit she asked “How do I get God in my life?” Ryan then lead her in a prayer of repentance and faith in Jesus.

Louise reports that there is already change happening in her daughter’s life. She has been invited to church and given a Bible. The importance of church and prayer has been underlined.
