What Would Paul Winter Do?

Paul finds a creatively incarnate way to meet a spiritual need.

Operation Joy’s Paul Winter goes onto the streets of Greater Manchester to meet with members of ‘street populations’, including those experiencing homelessness.

His ministry is all about incarnation - actively entering the world of the people he wants to reach with the Gospel

Some people, on seeing his badge or hearing that he is a missionary to street people, ask him for prayer beads.

Taking up this opportunity, Paul decided to carry and distribute some bracelets with the ‘What Would Jesus Do’ (WWJD) initials, as well as some bracelets incorporating a small cross.

To his delight, after a number of weeks of doing this, Paul has heard those who have had the WWJD bands explaining to others what the initials mean. A small but significant step in the right direction.

What a great example meeting people at the point of their spiritual need!
