A hungry person is an angry person

Food club helps to bring family stability and security.

Bethel Church Food Club in Oldham was represented by its leader Laura Campbell at a meeting with the Greater Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham. The meeting was with other Oldham Community Groups aimed at reducing violence among young people in Oldham, which is helping hundreds throughout the borough. The food club has been grateful to receive some funding from The Greater Manchester Violence Reduction Unit (VRU). It was shared that "a hungry person is an angry person", linking the the work of the food club to family stability and security.
