Back To School; with 7:9

Not the kids – the adults!

You may have read in the last blog that It was such a pleasure to celebrate the success of the ladies in the English class at the end of last term. But there’s more!

Just before we had set out for our end of term trip, (Is everyone here? Has the transport arrived? Have we got everything we need?) one of the students asked Sarah to write her a reference - and she needed it straight away, please!

Sarah did her best to gather the information needed so that she could write about the wonderful lady who had made the request. (She wouldn’t have asked at such short notice if she hadn’t needed to.) And away they all went on their daytrip.

After the long summer break, classes have restarted. Last week, Sarah was incredibly proud to find out that her student is now volunteering in a class at the local school and that she hopes to work in education in the future. God has given each one of us gifts which we can choose to use or not. As we offer them to Him, He uses them to build one another up, to bless one another.

Over the last year, Sarah has watched how this lady, and others, have grown in confidence and skill. We pray that they will also grow in their knowledge that God has created each one of them and loves them very much.

Please pray that new students will join us this term and that previous students will come ‘Back to school’!
