Does MCM Director Evangelise?

Yes, Astley Bridge Gospel Hall is testimony to it!

On Sunday evening our director Terry Durose was invited to deliver a service. The overseer, Chris, had organised a beautiful choir, Apples of Gold, who were a pure delight!

Terry began his address telling the congregation about how he became deaf in one ear – and then went on to deliver a very moving and powerful evangelical gospel message.

At the end of the service ‘C’ made a point of telling Terry that he too had hearing problems and that everything in the sermon had “spoken directly to him”. Quite a familiar statement amongst Christians, but unknown to ‘C’. He wasn’t a regular church attender and the conversation he had led Terry to believe that ‘C’ had been touched in a profound way.

Please pray with us that this is the start of ‘C’s Christian journey, and that he was saved in a little church in Astley Bridge.
