Hospitality, A Gospel Opportunity For SevenNine.

A Parable Given At Eid-ul-Fitr.

The receiving of the Quran, the holy book in Islam, is remembered, as taught in Islamic traditions, by observing a month of fasting, Ramadan. Muslims celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr at the end of this time; new outfits are worn to parties with families and friends, and much delicious food is shared.

In response to a simple ‘Eid Mubarak’ blessing sent through WhatsApp, I received an invitation to visit a friend the next day. Over a generous array of Asian delicacies we discussed many faith questions. I told the parable of the farmer who scattered the seed and we shared our concerns of how worldly materialism leads people away from truth.
