After a day in Manchester Paul was walking back through Bolton to home when he saw a familiar face emerge from a shop. This lady had changed her appearance considerably since Paul last saw her, but he recognised her as M who had been quite chaotic.

As they got talking M said that she had just got out of prison that day. Paul noticed a small cross around M's neck and remarked on it. M told him, 'Yes, I've become a Christian!'. That was quite an encouragement for Paul as he continued home.
