Lidl Makes Room For Christmas!

Our Food Club Gets Boundless Generosity…

Lidl donates their surplus food to our food club; they are always extremely generous particularly at Christmas. We pick this surplus food up from various Lidl stores in the local area. Around this time of year Lidl make way for their seasonal frozen food and this means a huge surplus of frozen food becomes available.

Our food club has limited freezer space which limits what we can accept. However, this year at short notice our other food clubs were available to collect the surplus frozen food, so even more people will benefit. Brookhouse in Eccles, Bridge Community Hub and Trinity Baptist Church both in Radcliff were able to come and pick up at really short notice ( a quick phone call).

It has been wonderful to be able to collaborate with each group and help each other out!
