News From Our City Streets.

A couple of recent stories...

A is a relatively new contact for Paul. It appeared as though she was suffering from mental health problems and Paul took time to listen to her. She explained that some years ago she lost her 13-year-old daughter and it still hurts immensely. Although A's birthday was due in a few days, she would not be celebrating; it was her daughter's birthday that meant a lot more. Paul is thinking and praying about his next approach to this situation.

Sometimes delays are inevitable, but Paul prays that God would use them so that His timing is perfect. Just this week having arrived on the streets late afternoon he encountered G whom he had not seen since last year; G insisted that she would have a new WWJD bracelet and encouraged her two friends to do the same. One of these friends Paul knew, but the other he had not met before. They each wanted Paul to put the bracelets on them and G said, 'When you've done this I want you to pray with us'. G has expressed an interest in being baptised, but it can be quite chaotic on the streets to deal with the process leading up to it. Paul hopes that there will be some way of directing G to the right path and seeing her have the assurance of salvation.
