Operation Joy Visits The Hospital..

And Does Some Detective Work!

On his way to the station in Bolton this week Paul met with C and then met W who told him separately that D had lost a leg and was in hospital in Manchester. Paul decided to pursue visiting him. When he arrived at the hospital reception he explained that he didn't have the full date of birth as he had only heard about D losing a leg that morning, and all personal details were still at home. The member of staff said that they would not be able to find D on the system on that basis. Paul decided to walk the length of the hospital to see if there were any clues as to where D might be. He then went back outside and googled D's name and he found a newspaper article indicating D's age. Thinking this might be helpful at reception Paul made his way towards the hospital entrance again, only to find D being wheeled out by his mother so that he could have a cigarette. He explained to his mum that he normally met him on the streets of Bolton in recent years; Paul promised that he would be asking people to pray for him, knowing that he was being well cared for by family.

Please pray with us for D…
