What Would You Do…?
If Jesus Asked You To Follow Him!
T had an unusual request for Paul recently. She had found a keyring in the street with a band on it. There were two bible references on the band: Matthew 11:28-30 and Mark 1:16-18. T asked Paul to look them up, so he offered to print them out at home. He returned the following week and presented them to her. Now T can carry them with her knowing that Jesus asks us to follow Him, and he also offers to take our burdens.
Matthew 11:28-30
28. “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
29. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
30. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
Mark 1: 16-18
16. As Jesus walked beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and his brother Andrew casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen.
17. “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will make you fishers of men.”
18. At once they left their nets and followed him.
Please pray with us, that T will answer this call. Amen!
