For A Spiritual Calling!

I recently came into the chaplaincy office at HMP Hindley one morning and my colleagues drew my attention to a plaque on the wall. It read as follows :-

HINDLEY PERFORMANCE RECOGNITION

TEAM OF THE YEAR

CHAPLAINCY

"Recognising their commitment, empathy and quiet leadership. They make a profound difference every day and they are a cornerstone of the establishment. Quite simply we would be lost without them."

This is a very encouraging accolade from the governor herself, and it is wonderful to have such official recognition from the prison authorities for the work of chaplaincy.
