Would You Be Obedient To God?; He Works For The Good Of Those Who Love Him! (Rom 8:28)

Some catching up with Operation Joy just before Christmas…

As Paul approached B last Thursday, the week before Christmas, it became apparent that she was being arrested. Quite upset, she asked if she could call her mum and having done so she explained what was happening. Obviously this will have left her mum concerned, because B would probably have little opportunity to update her beyond that point.

Two days later Paul caught the train into Manchester and it was packed with Christmas shoppers. That being the case he decided to get off at Salford Central, something he hadn't done for several months. That change of routine was a blessing; there in an unusual setting was B, she had been released the night before. 'Can I ring my mum?' she asked. That call will have been really important to both B and her mum.

Paul was grateful for the feeling that God had allowed a crowded train to prompt him to get off at Salford Central.
