God’s Bread provision Continues…

Barry at our food club receives immediate answer to prayer!!!

You may remember the incredible interventions that God did at the Narrowgate Night Shelter so that we never ran out of bread? Well it seems this continues in the food club. Each Monday and Thursday we have been picking up surplus bakery items from Lidl stores in the area. This Monday we were given so much we were able to give lots away to our Brookhouse food club.

However, this Thursday there were no bakery items from 3 Lidl stores – unheard of before. I prayed and was convinced that God would supply from the 4^th and last store. I was shocked to find our volunteer, Eva from Oasis Church, return empty handed. I asked again to see if she was certain, sadly she was.

I could not accept there was no bread after praying and so I tried calling the store to check again. After repeatedly getting no answer to my call Eva decided to go back and check again, praying on the way. The result was the picture above – 5 crates of bakery items!!

This is the only time in 5 years that I was so convinced God would supply that I could not accept Lidl’s first report. With God all things are possible!
