On The Wing Has The Privilege To Witness…

A Life Turned Around!

I was recently speaking to an inmate at one of the prisons in which I work, who has been given the job of Chapel orderly. “S” told me that his prison sentence has been a wake-up call for him and his involvement with Chapel has resulted in him turning back to his childhood faith. He has re-dedicated his life to Christ and upon his release this coming summer, he intends to join his family in their church in Blackburn.

He is really conscientious in his work and does a wonderful job cleaning the various Chapel rooms, toilets and corridors and attends the Chapel services regularly. We often have quite deep discussions about Theology and about life in general and he tells me that when he is released he would like to get involved in mentoring young people, a role in which I feel his lived experience would be invaluable.

Please pray for “S” as his release date approaches, that the Lord will continue to bless him and use him to win souls and minister to others.
