Operation Joy Asks...

Is Jesus Your Crutch?

Not all stories have a happy ending. D was one of Paul's most regular contacts up until the beginning of the pandemic. He was Homeless and had addiction problems. D then left Manchester and went to live with family in the South West. Paul was able to stay in touch through social media discovering that D had lost a leg but was having a prosthetic one fitted. It was encouraging also to hear that D was going to church. Things then went quiet for a long time. As Paul started outreach one day in Manchester recently he was shocked to see D back, on crutches and on one leg. Clearly there had been a significant setback, but having got so far before it was Paul's prayer that D would be able to make progress again.

Please join us in praying for those suffering with addiction, that they will make Jesus their crutch.
