Was It Really That Uneventful?

No, Not To The People That Paul Connected With!

Sometimes a day can seem relatively uneventful, but when looking back there are often encouragements because of several brief but significant events. This week Paul had a day a bit like that. He was speaking to F whom he had not met before and was offering her some food when a young student (E) approached and asked if Paul did this sort of thing all the time. E was interested in doing this type of evangelism herself, she explained that as she is a student she would not be able to do it now, but Paul said he would pray that it would happen for her one day. C was nearby and soon Paul was listening to her as she explained that she was very depressed; some individuals had already suggested that she go to A & E, so Paul simply listened and kept an eye on her from a distance as she spoke with friends. Soon Paul was with T whose birthday was three days away, so he gave her a present and card. Later on B was speaking with her dad on the phone, another important feature of Operation Joy where contact with family is encouraged.

Each of these stories on their own may not seem much but together it makes for a positive day, especially as prayer can continue more intelligently with greater knowledge of these individuals.

Please pray with us for those Paul is reaching out to.
